Utah men’s tennis squad hits the road this weekend for two matches in Tulsa, Okla. After another successful home weekend of play with a 5-2 win over the Denver Pioneers, the Utes prepare to take on Incarnate Word and Oral Roberts in a double-header this Saturday, Mar. 4.

IN THE RANKS
Head Coach Roeland Brateanu continues to hold the men’s tennis program to a high standard. The doubles dream-team Berk Bugarikj and Patrik Trhac hold the No. 13 spot in doubles in national rankings. Geronimo Espin Busleiman also holds the No. 58 spot for singles in national rankings.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
Up first on Utah’s schedules are the Incarnate Word Cardinals. The team currently holds an 8-2 record for the season, most recently with a 7-0 victory against Mississippi Valley State and 4-1 against Jackson State. The Utes have not faced the Cardinals previously, making this their first matchup.
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles hold a 5-7 record for the spring season so far, with their most recent victories against Southwestern College and DePaul. The Utes and the Golden Eagles have not faced each other yet, making for Saturday’s double-header a lively competition.
