Doubles Run by Brylin and Killingsworth Comes to an End at ITA All-American Championships


CARY, N.C. – Competing as the lone Wake Forest women’s tennis pair in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships’ main draw section, Anna Brylin and Brooke Killingsworth saw their participation come to a close on Tuesday (Oct. 6) at the Cary Tennis Center.

The two Demon Deacons picked up a duo win in the Round of 32 on Monday afternoon before falling short in their next matchup.

Wake Forest had a total of six players compete in the event, as Brylin, Nevena Carton, and Whitley Pate each earned singles wins during pre-qualifying play.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 5

Main Draw, Doubles

R-32 – Anna Brylin/Brooke Killingsworth (WF) def. Jessica Alsola/Katja Wiersholm (CAL) 6-2, 7-5

 

Thursday, Oct. 6

Main Draw, Doubles

R-16 – Kari Miller/Jaedan Brown (MICH) def. Anna Brylin/Brooke Killingsworth (WF) 3-6, 6-7 (2-7)
