2022 Fall Men’s Tennis Schedule Announced


EUGENE, Ore. – The 2022 fall men’s tennis schedule was announced today and features the Duck Invite in November, as well as nine other fall tournaments.
 
Headlined by the No. 5 ranked doubles team in the country, Oregon starts the fall season participating in the Dar Walter’s Classic in Boise, Idaho. The tournament runs Sept. 30-Oct. 2 and features Boise State, Eastern Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah and Utah State. The Ducks then head to the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, taking place Oct. 1-9.
 
The ITA Northwest Regional is in Spokane, Wash. this season and starts on Oct. 6. The Super Regionals follow on Oct. 21 and matches are being played in Palo Alto, Calif. Oregon then plays in Ithaca, N.Y. on Halloween for the ITF Futures tournament, before returning west to play in the Fall Nationals in San Diego in early November.
 
The Duck Invite returns to Eugene and runs Nov. 11-13. Oregon looks again to sweep the trophies in the hometown tournament. The last event on the fall schedule is another ITF Futures tournament, this time taking place in Columbus, Ohio in mid-November.
 
In addition to returning spots one through five in the lineup, Oregon will add Romanian standout Vlad Breazu and one of the top-ranked players in Sweden, August Gustafson. Rounding out the additions are Ray Lo, joining the Ducks from Wichita State University, as well as freshman Russell Soohoo from San Diego.
