Start of NCAA doubles play in Orlando postponed

ORLANDO – It appears three members of the NC State men’s tennis team will have to wait before making their debut in Orlando.

Due to storms around the area on Tuesday, action at the NCAA singles and doubles championships were postponed.

That means Joe Wayand, Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli will have to wait one more day before hitting the court in some real action. Wayand’s doubles partner, Rafa Izqueirdo Luque, played a singles match on Monday.

Catry and Staeheli will play Alan Magadan and Sebastian Rodriguez of UTSA. Izqueirdo Luque and Wayand will play Jack Clements and Louis Delcour of South Alabama. No makeup time has been set.
