Men's Tennis Selected to Play Toledo in First Round of NCAA Tournament


CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois men’s tennis (16-8) will play the Toledo Rockets (14-10) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Lexington, Ky at noon CT on Friday. 

Illinois is making its 27th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance, and its 17th in head coach Brad Dancer’s 19-year tenure as UI head coach. 

Illinois owns a 52-25 all-time record in the NCAA Tournament. The Fighting Illini won the national championship in 2003, and finished as national runner-up in Dancer’s second season in 2007.
