Wildcats Earn First NCAA Championships Bid Since 2014


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Arizona Women’s Tennis will compete in the NCAA Tennis Championships for the first time since 2014, traveling to College Station, Texas to take on Oklahoma in its first-round matchup. Match days and times will be announced when they are confirmed by the NCAA at a later time.

 

With a first-round win the Cats will face the winner of 14-seed Texas A&M versus Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the second round

Arizona enters the NCAA Championships with a 17-12 record that includes wins in five of its last seven regular-season matches. The Wildcats played No. 64 Oregon in the first round of the Pac-12 Championships, coasting to a 4-0 win over the Ducks. The bid is the first under head coach Ryan Stotland and the 24th in program history.
