Last Time Out:

Last Friday the Wolfpack defeated the University of Central Florida in Lake Nona, Fla. with a 6-1 decision. The team’s points came from two wins in doubles to claim the singular point and singles wins on five out of the six courts. Freshman, Diana Shnaider picked up an upset win over a ranked opponent on court one for singles.

Rankings Update:

A 6-1 win at UCF kept the team in the top-10 but did not hold enough weight to move them forward any spots, the team dropped one spot to No. 8 in the country in the ITA rankings.

The ITA released updated singles and doubles rankings on March 21th which continued to hold five Wolfpack members in singles and two pairs in doubles. Alana Smith stayed at No. 9 in singles, continuing her highest singles rank in career history. She is followed by Diana Shnaider at No. 19, Amelia Rajecki at No. 24, Abigail Rencheli at No. 58, and Sophie Abrams at No. 114. In doubles, Shnaider and Smith cracked in the top-10 at No. 9 for the first time and Miller and Rajecki stayed in the top-20 at No. 19.

Coming Up Next:

The weekend ACC action continues as the Pack travels straight to Louisville to take on the Cardinals in Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, March 26 with a 12 p.m. first serve.
