MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women’s tennis team earned another postseason rank as it finished No. 3 in the ITA Midwest Region final poll.
The No. 3 rank is Wisconsin’s highest in program history in the ITA Midwest Region final rankings.
For the first time since 1998, the Wisconsin women’s tennis team finished within the top-25 of the ITA poll, closing out the season as the No. 22 team in the nation in last month’s final poll.
Wisconsin was a force at the national level all season as it was ranked in the ITA top-25 for 14 weeks. The Badgers recorded a 20-win season for the first time since 1996-97 and went 8-3 in Big Ten matches for the second straight season.
