LAST TIME OUT
The Nittany Lions competed in two Big Ten match ups this past weekend. The team defeated No. 71 Michigan State, 4-1, on Friday. Freshman Jordina Cegarra clinched the match with her 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 win over Issey Purser.
The Blue and White fell to No. 2 Michigan, 4-1, on Sunday. At No. 1 doubles, Olivia Dorner and Karly Friedland defeated No. 4 Jaedan Brown and Kari Miller, 6-3.
Friedland and Dorner are now ranked No. 69 in the nation.
SCOUTING PURDUE
The No. 59 Purdue women’s tennis team is 8-5 on the season and 1-2 in Big Ten play. The team’s last match was a 4-0 win over Charleston Southern on March 15.
INFO ON INDIANA
The Indiana women’s tennis team is 6-11 on the season and 0-3 in Big Ten play. The team’s last match was a 4-0 loss to LMU.
The Hoosiers will compete against No. 13 Ohio State on Saturday prior to meeting the Nittany Lions.
