Wake Forest Suffers Sunday Setback at Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Playing another outing out of state, No. 25 Wake Forest women’s tennis (12-8, 3-4) visited Notre Dame (12-7, 2-5) on Sunday afternoon (March 26). The host team ultimately protected its floor in a 7-0 sweep.

The match marked the end of a four-match road stretch for the Demon Deacons. Eight contests make up the remainder of the team’s regular-season slate, six of which will take place at the Wake Forest Tennis Center, where the Deacs are currently 8-2.

Nevena Carton forced two tiebreakers on Sunday.
