Virginia Men's Tennis | Dylan Dietrich Competing in NCAA Singles Championship

STILLWATER, Okla. – Virginia men’s tennis freshman Dylan Dietrich will be competing in the 2024 NCAA Men’s Tennis Singles Championship at the Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwater, Okla.

Dietrich opens play by taking on the top seed of the championship, Johannus Monday of Tennessee at 10 a.m. ET. on Monday, May 20.

Live scoring will be available through the iOnCourt app.

The winner will advance to face either Thomas Paulsell of Georgia or Samuel Sippel of Boise State.

Seniors Chris Rodesch, Iñaki Montes and Jeffrey von der Schulenburg all qualified to compete in the championship, but have withdrawn. Rodesch was the No. 4 seed. Von der Schulenburg was the first alternate when selections were announced but moved into the field via withdrawals. It would have been his fourth time competing in the championship.

Montes and grad student James Hopper were a 5-8 seed in the doubles draw, but have also withdrawn from that competition. Virginia will not have a team competing in the doubles draw.
