USC Women's Tennis Match Against UCLA Moved To Monday, Feb. 27

LOS ANGELES – Due to heavy rain in the forecast for Los Angeles this weekend, the USC women’s tennis  team’s match against UCLA has been moved to Monday, Feb. 27 at 10:00. The match will remain at Marks Stadium. 

Fans in attendance will have a chance to receive a free USC women’s tennis t-shirt. 

USC enters the match with a 6-2 record, having most recently defeated UC Santa Barbara 7-0 on Sunday, Feb. 12. The Trojans season stats can be found here.

RANKINGS

USC boasts five Trojans in the national singles rankings with freshman Madison Sieg leading USC at No. 4. Trojan senior Eryn Cayetano locked in the No. 24 spot, while redshirt sophomore Snow Han secured the No. 43 rank. Making her debut in the ITA rankings this week was redshirt sophomore McKenna Koenig who checked in at No. 111, just a few spots ahead of freshman Emma Charney who took the No. 124 spot.  

The Women of Troy also boast two ranked duos in No. 19 Naomi Cheong and Snow Han (first time in ITA rankings in doubles) and the pair of Maddy Sieg and Eryn Cayetano, who hold the No. 29 rank. 

 

SCOUTING UCLA

The No. 59 ranked Bruins are 3-2 on the season, having most recently defeated CSUN 7-0 at home on Thursday, Feb. 16. USC and UCLA are currently tied at 51 wins apiece in 102 all-time meetings between the two schools.
