CLEMSON, S.C. – Women’s tennis is wrapping up their final tournament for the fall season at the Auburn Invite hosted by the Auburn Tigers this weekend, November 3-5th. The event is set in a hidden dual format.
Two Clemson Tigers are set to compete this weekend: Sophie Hatton and Alina Tsyurpalevych. Hatton and Tsyurpalevych are coming off a great run at the ITA Regional Championships in doubles, winning 8-2. Tsyurpalevych also had a great run in singles, defeating Thomas of Furman University 7-5, 6-3.
“We are excited to go compete at Auburn this weekend,” Head Coach Boomer Saia said, “Sophia and Alina have put in some really good work this last 2 weeks and we are looking to finish the fall strong and build off what we have learned!”
On Friday, doubles begin at 1 p.m. CT, followed directly by singles. On Saturday, singles begin at 10 a.m., followed by doubles. Sunday’s finale will see doubles played at noon CT, followed directly by singles.
