PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Head coach of the Rutgers women’s tennis team Hilary Ritchie has announced the 2023 spring schedule. The team will play 22 regular season matches including 13 at home.
“The whole team is looking forward to our spring schedule,” Ritchie said. “We have a lot of home matches where we will have the opportunity to showcase our improvements.”
All indoor matches will be played at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.

The Scarlet Knights will stay home for the first three matchups of the 2023 campaign. The team will welcome Bucknell to Piscataway on Jan. 21 for a 4 p.m. match followed by Binghamton on Jan. 22 (12 p.m.) and Drexel on Jan. 27 (12 p.m.).
In their first road outing of the season, RU will travel to Army on Feb. 3 for a 2 p.m. contest. From there, Rutgers will head to Yale on Feb. 4 (1 p.m.).
The Scarlet Knights will once again return home, this time for a four-match stint, facing three New Jersey rival schools. To start off the stretch, the squad will host a doubleheader on Feb. 10, facing Seton Hall at 11 a.m. followed by Princeton at 3:30 p.m. RU will then welcome Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 12 for a noon match. Rounding out the homestand, the team will meet UMass on Feb. 18 for a 5 p.m. start.
Rutgers will then spend some time back on the road, starting at Delaware on Feb. 24 (12 p.m.). The team will then get into Big Ten play, traveling to face Indiana on March 10 (1:30 p.m.) and Purdue on March 11 (2 p.m.)
RU will then depart for New Orleans, Louisiana to play a pair of neutral site matches against Wisconsin on March 15 (TBA) and Southern on March 18 (11 a.m.).
After over a month on the road, the Scarlet Knights will return home for another four-match home stretch, this time against all Big Ten opponents. In their conference home opener, the team will welcome Maryland on March 26. Rutgers will then host Minnesota on April 2, Illinois on April 7 and Northwestern on April 9. All four matchups will begin at 12 p.m.
