Tar Heel Trio's Run Ends At Men's ITA All-American Championship


TULSA, OKLA.—Three Tar Heels saw their run in the Qualifying Singles Draw of the 2023 ITA Men’s All-American Championship come to an end with losses on Monday.

Will Peters, who earned entry into the Qualifying Draw with four wins in two days in the Prequalifying Draw on Saturday and Sunday, lost his match with 11th seed and #66-ranked Marek Wojtek of USC, 6-2, 6-2. Wojtek’s teammate, Lodewijk Weststrate, defeated UNC’s Anuj Watane in three sets, 0-6, 6-1. 6-3.

And Edward Winter of Pepperdine beat Karl Poling, 6-3, 6-2.
