Penn State Women's Tennis Set To Open Spring Season Sunday At Old Dominion

University Park, Pa. – Penn State women’s tennis will travel to Norfolk, Va. to kick off its spring season at Old Dominion at 11:00am.

Kicking off the spring season, the Nittany Lions hope to start the season strong by clinching their first win against the Old Dominion Monarchs.

This Sunday’s dual match-up will be graduate student, Gabby O’Gorman’s final spring season kick off. O’Gorman’s athletic career at Penn State features 68 appearances in singles and 61 appearances in doubles play.

O’Gorman also earned All-Big Ten honors her senior season, the first Nittany Lion honoree since 2016.

“I am super excited to kick off my last season at ODU with the girls,” said Gabby O’Gorman. “We have a big opportunity this weekend to face some ranked players which will challenge us but there’s a lot of potential on this team that we are excited to see. Being on the road will be fun and tough at the same time, but lets see what we can do.”
