Mohr to Compete in NCAA Singles Championships

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — No. 24 Celia-Belle Mohr will compete against Pepperdine’s No. 16 Janice Tjen at 4:30 p.m. CT on Monday in Orlando, Florida.

Mohr is 30-15 overall this season, earning her first season with 30 singles wins of her collegiate career. Playing at No. 1 singles for the Commodores, she has defeated 11 nationally ranked opponents and has ranked among the top 50 herself all season.

Tjen is 25-8 overall and has defeated nine nationally ranked opponents this season. Pepperdine lost 4-3 to Texas in the third round of the NCAA tournament.

The singles matches will be best-of-three sets, and a seven-point tiebreaker will be used at six-games-all.
