CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Graduate student Dan Martin finished the 2022-23 season as one of the 30 best Division I men’s tennis players, checking in at No. 27 in the final ITA singles rankings.
Martin advanced to the second round of the NCAA Singles Championship before falling to Micah Braswell of Texas, 5-7, 4-6. The Laval, Quebec, Canada native totaled five wins over top-40 opponents this season and finished the year with a 21-14 record in singles action.
Martin earned All-ACC First Team honors for the second straight season and tallied 20-plus wins for the second time in his career.
As a team, Miami finished the season ranked 50th in the nation according to the ITA, with a 15-10 overall record and 5-7 mark in ACC play.
