Grigor Dimitrov is opting for a DC return rather than chasing an Olympic medal.
World No. 10 Dimitrov will forgo next month’s Paris Olympic Games at Roland Garros in favor of returning to the Mubadala Citi Open on hard court.

The 2024 Citi Open is set for July 27-August 4th on hard courts.
The Paris Olympic tennis tournament will be contested on Roland Garros’ red clay July 27-August 4th.

Former world No. 3 Dimitrov opened the season winning Brisbane, his ninth career title and first Tour-level championship in nearly seven years.
Dimitrov defeated Hubert Hurkacz, Carlos Alcaraz and Olympic gold-medal champion Alexander Zverev in succession to reach the Miami Open final, falling to Jannik Sinner last spring.
