HONFLEUR, France – Joshua Charlton had the opportunity of a lifetime to represent his home country at the national level.
Over the weekend, Charlton and Team Australia participated in the 15th Annual Master U BNP Paribas tournament in Honfleur, France. Matched up against Belgium in the quarterfinals, the Australians coasted to a 6-1 victory and birth in the semifinals. A tough match with Great Britain resulted in a 5-2 win for the British, setting up a third place match with the host country of France.
In the third place match, Charlton helped the Australians to a victory, as Australia’s mixed doubles team won 4-3, giving the bronze medal to Charlton and Australia.
