CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Women’s Tennis team (11-10, 2-8 ACC) is set to play two matches at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility against No. 36 Wake Forest on Friday, April 12 and No. 12 NC State on Sunday, April 14.
Attendance is free for both matches, and live streaming and live scoring will be available through the links provided.
The match against Wake Forest is set to begin at 5 p.m., and the theme will be ‘Pink Match,’ where breast cancer survivors will be honored.
This will be the 56th matchup between the Demon Deacons and Tigers, with Clemson leading the series, 32-23. The last win for the Tigers was in 2018, with Clemson winning 4-3.
“This weekend will be our squad’s final weekend of home tennis,” Head Coach Boomer Saia Said. “We have six players graduating this spring. Senior day on Sunday will be a big weekend of opportunity for our seniors’ last homestand. This group has been through so much together and will be bonded for life through this experience—we are excited to celebrate them on Sunday!”
On Sunday, the Women’s team will honor its six seniors: Alina Tsyurpalevych, Alexandra Anttila, Cristina Mayorova, Daniella Medvedeva, Eleni Louka, and Jenna Thompson. The match begins at 12 p.m., and the senior celebration will take place before the match begins. The Clemson Marching Band will be in attendance during the match. This will be the 58th matchup between Clemson and No. 12 NC State and the season’s second matchup, with the Tigers leading the series 44-12. The Tigers and Wolfpack met during the ITA Kickoff Weekend tournament in January when NC State delivered the Tigers’ first loss of the season.
