LOS ANGELES – The USC women’s tennis team returns home this weekend to host the three-day Women of Troy invitational tournament, running Friday, Oct. 6, through Sunday, Oct. 8 at Marks Tennis Stadium.
The Women of Troy Invite will be the Trojans’ first and only appearance at Marks Stadium this fall, with their next home match coming in January when the spring season begins.
Seven Trojans will rep the Cardinal and Gold this weekend: redshirt junior McKenna Koenig, redshirt junior Isabelle Lee, junior Sloane Morra, senior Naomi Cheong, redshirt junior Snow Han, junior Parker Fry and redshirt junior Gabrielle Lee.
The tournament comes on the heels of the ITA All American Championship tournament, where fifth-year Trojan Eryn Cayetano and sophomore Emma Charney saw action against top ranked opponents in singles action,
The Women of Troy will see action against players from UCSB, Utah and Pacific in head-to-head matches. Also attending this weekend are athletes from CSUN and LMU.
Matches will take place at both Marks Stadium and USC’s recreational tennis courts. The schedule, including dates and times can be found here.
