LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Women of Troy return to action this weekend, coming off the heels of a successful 2022-23 season that saw USC finish as runner-up in the Pac-12 Championship Tournament.

Head Coach Alison Swain returns for her sixth season leading the Women of Troy, who return a nearly complete roster apart from freshman All-American Maddy Sieg and graduate student Nathalie Rodilosso, who departed following the 2023 spring season. USC also welcomes fresh talent with the addition of Arizona transfer Parker Fry (junior), who was productive in both singles and doubles last season for the Wildcats.

The Women of Troy will be represented at three different tournaments this weekend across the country.

Action will kick off on Thursday at the Fall Ranked Spotlight in Cary, N.C., where sophomore Emma Charney and redshirt junior Snow Han will compete in doubles. Last year, Sieg led the way for the Trojans at the event with a semifinal finish, while Han and Eryn Cayetano both finished in the quarterfinals.

The USTA SoCal Intercollegiate tournament will also begin Thursday, where Fry will see her first action in Cardinal and Gold. Fry will be joined in San Diego by junior Sloane Morra, redshirt junior Isabelle Lee and redshirt junior McKenna Koenig. The Women of Troy will compete in both singles and doubles.

Two additional Trojans will begin their seasons this weekend at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, WI, where Cayetano and junior Grace Piper will compete in singles and doubles. Last season, the Women of Troy dominated in singles, with Sieg defeating teammate Naomi Cheong to take the title. The two also teamed up to secure the tournament’s doubles title.
