The four-hour, 42-minute men’s final drew 3.2 million viewers for ESPN.

It’s the most-watched Wimbledon men’s final on ESPN since 2019 when Djokovic denied championship points defeating Roger Federer in five sets. That marathon match drew 3.4 million viewers for ESPN.

In the UK, the men’s final was a massive ratings hit.

The dramatic duel peaked on BBC One with an audience of 11.3 million. It’s the biggest BBC audience for a Wimbledon men’s final since 2016 when Andy Murray’s victory over Milos Raonic drew a high of 13.3 million viewers, the BBC reports.

Marketa Vondrousova’s straight-sets win over Ons Jabeur in the Wimbledon ladies final drew 1.3 million viewers, a 10% increase from last year’s telecast featuring Elena Rybakina’s three-set comeback victory over Ons Jabeur.

The Gentlemen’s Singles Championship on ESPN Deportes was the second most-watched Wimbledon telecast on the network behind the 2019 Men’s Singles Championship.

ESPN reports its Wimbledon streaming is the most-watched tennis tournament on ESPN+ to date. Across all ESPN+ feeds, viewership was up triple digits from 2022.

The network said that increased is due to “a larger number of available feeds and expanded coverage time, including the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Singles Championships.”
