Sizing Up:

NC State and North Carolina have already faced each other twice this season. Back in early April, the Pack traveled to Chapel Hill where they fought for numerous hours through rain and lightning but were defeated 0-7. By the end of the month, the two were already scheduled to meet again after both teams advanced to the finals of the ACC Tournament. NC State brought the energy and walked away victorious by a 4-1 score, handing the Tarheels what has been their only loss of the entire season.

Both times the Wolfpack and Tarheels have met the lineups for both teams have been varied.

North Carolina possesses six ranked players in their current singles lineup, Fiona Crawley (No. 1), Reese Brantmeier (No. 8), Carson Tanguilig (No. 28), Anika Yarlagadda (No. 38), Reilly Tran (No. 100), and Elizabeth Scotty (No. 107).

NC State carries two ranked doubles pairs and four ranked players in singles in their lineups, Diana Shnaider (No. 7), Alana Smith (No. 13), Amelia Rajecki (No. 26), and Abigail Rencheli (No. 86).

Season Stats:

The team currently rides a program-best 11-game winning streak. Strength of schedule this season has proven to be no challenge as 21 victories were tallied over nationally ranked opponents. Of those victories, 14 of them were over top-25 teams.
