Coach Dougherty’s Remarks
“The team did a nice job closing out spring break with a hard fought Big Ten win. The conditions were tricky with the wind today and we did a great job with the elements and controlling the things we could control. Marta set the tone the for us early and put that second point up quickly for us and the momentum kept rolling. We’ve been on the road a ton and the team has done a great job embracing the challenges that come with it. It showed today with how we competed and had to dig deep on a number of courts”
