Hokies wrap up ITA Atlantic Regional in Blacksburg


BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech women’s tennis wrapped up its time competing in the ITA Atlantic Regional on Sunday.
 
Charlotte Cartledge and Dariya Radulova led the way for Tech, progressing into the doubles main draw quarterfinal before falling on Sunday morning. They were one of three Tech doubles teams to advance in the doubles main draw, as Erika Cheng and Sabina Richtrova made it to the second round, while Semra Aksu and Ozlem Uslu progressed to the Round of 16.
 
Aksu and Uslu progressed in the singles main draw to the second round before losing on Friday. Radulova featured in the main draw first round after winning two qualifying matches on Thursday.
 
Tamara Barad Itzhaki and Cheng picked up wins on Sunday in consolation singles matches.
