Huskers Host No. 1 Ohio State, Penn State to Close Regular Season – University of Nebraska

The #58 Nebraska men’s tennis team (15-8, 4-3 Big Ten) is set to host the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes (25-1, 7-0 Big Ten) on Friday, April 19, and the Penn State Nittany Lions (4-18, 0-7 Big Ten) on Sunday, April 21, to close out the regular season. The conference matches will be the last for the Big Red prior to the Big Ten Tournament starting Thursday, April 25. 

The Huskers currently hold the most program wins in a season since 2011 and will take on the top-ranked Buckeyes at 5 p.m. (CT) on Friday, and the Nittany Lions at noon (CT) on Sunday. Parking and admission are free, and giveaways and live stats will be available, as well as updates via Twitter/X @HuskerMTennis. Big Red seniors Rudi Christiansen, Shunya Maruyama and Nic Wiedenhorn will be recognized prior to the Sunday match, and fans are encouraged to arrive early for the celebration.

Scouting #1 Ohio State (25-1, 7-0 Big Ten)/Series History:
– OSU comes into the final weekend of regular season play with a nearly perfect 25-1 record, undefeated in conference play.
