#31 Arizona will face off against Furman in the first round of Blue Gray for the first time in 22 years. The Wildcats are the highest ranked team out of the eight participating and secured the #1 seed at Blue Gray for the very first time.

In the Ranks – The 9-3 Wildcats grabbed their first ITA national ranking of the season at the #31 spot. Last spring the team ended their season at #47 after beginning at #66. Furman is not ranked in the top 75 teams but they have one doubles pair representing them in the ITA ranks: #51 Jess Dawson and Sara Isabel.
Checking Out the Competition – Arizona has the opportunity to face off against #47 Texas Tech for the second time this season. Last week the Lady Raiders blanked the Wildcats 4-0 on Saturday, Feb. 18. TTU plays #58 Yale in their first round of Blue Gray.
Post Blue Gray – After their tournament in Alabama, the Wildcats are finally back at home for four home matches. Arizona will open Pac-12 play against #55 Oregon on Friday, March 3 at 12 p.m. MT.
