2023 ITA Fall Championships: Day One Results


SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Day one of the 2023 ITA Fall Championships began on Wednesday in San Diego. In total, three Tar Heels will compete in the singles main draw while two doubles teams competed on Wednesday.

This page will be updated as results become final.

Round one singles results:

Reese Brantmeier defeated Dana Guzman of Oklahoma, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the second round.

Reilly Tran upset Alexa Noel of Miami, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 to solidify her spot in the round of 16.

Anika Yarlagadda vs. Esha Velaga of Penn

Round one doubles results:

3:30 p.m. (PT):

Reese Brantmeier and Elizabeth Scotty vs. Tanya Sasnouskaya and Sabina Zeynalova of the University of Texas

5:00 p.m. (PT)

Abbey Forbes and Reilly Tran vs. Savannah Broadus and Janice Tjen of Pepperdine.

The ITA Fall Championships round of 16 will take place on Thursday. Each day will consist of one round of competition with the championship matches taking place on Sunday.
