KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 24 Tennessee women’s tennis team will return home to Rocky Top as the team prepares to face No. 34 Ole Miss and Mississippi State at Barksdale Stadium. The Lady Volunteers will host the Rebels at 4 p.m. on Friday, before taking on the Bulldogs at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

This past weekend, Tennessee (13-6, 5-4 SEC) secured two ranked victories, at both No. 16 Auburn and No. 23 Alabama. The two triumphs extended the Lady Vols’ ranked winning streak to five, as they notched their second SEC weekend sweep of the season. Sophomore Catherine Aulia was spectacular in clinching both matches against the Tigers and the Crimson Tide over the weekend.

The sophomore collected her second ranked win of the season against No. 74 Ariana Arseneault from Auburn in a 6-4, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5) decision. The Sydney, Australia, native showed off her persistent net skills and polished serving ability as she pulled through to propel Tennessee to a 4-3 win over the Tigers. On Sunday, Aulia and partner Lauren Anzalotta downed Alabama’s Ola Pitak and Klara Milicevic, 6-2. The match came down to Aulia in singles yet again on court three. The sophomore turned on the heat to file a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 victory against Anne Marie Hiser and secure a 4-1 advantage in favor of the Lady Vols.

The conference announced on Wednesday that Aulia nabbed the 10th weekly award of the season. Tennessee has now snagged two SEC weekly awards, with Sofia Cabezas earning Player of the Week on Feb. 7, Anzalotta collecting the honor on Feb. 21 and Aulia achieving the award on Wednesday.
