NASHVILLE, Tenn. — No. 13 Célia-Belle Mohr will compete against Oklahoma’s No. 40 Dana Guzman in the NCAA Singles Championship at 10:15 a.m. Central time on Monday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mohr is 30-8 overall this season, earning the second consecutive season with 30 singles wins of her collegiate career. Playing at No. 1 singles for the Commodores, she has defeated 12 nationally ranked opponents and has ranked among the top 30 all season.
Guzman is 27-10 overall and has defeated two nationally ranked opponents this season. Two weekends ago, Oklahoma lost 4-0 to Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The singles matches will be best-of-three sets, and a seven-point tiebreaker will be used at six-games-all.
The 2023 NCAA Singles Championship saw Mohr advance to the second round, ultimately falling to Auburn’s No. 32 Ariana Arseneault in the second set.
