ROME, Ga. – USC’s freshman Niels Hoffmann returns home after going 1-1 at the ITA Conference Masters tournament on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Rome Tennis Center.
Hoffmann played in two matches as the Big Ten representative and made an impact, winning his round-of-32 match 6-3, 6-4 over the Atlantic Sun conferences rep Bellarmine’s Jack Batchelor. The freshman then faced the No. 1-seeded player in the tournament, No. 13-ranked Sebastian Dominko of Notre Dame. Dominkobested Hoffmann 6-3, 6-4.
Hoffmann finishes his fall season 11-4 overall.
