BLACKSBURG – Three members of the Virginia Tech women’s tennis team were recognized on the 2023 Academic All-District team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
The 2023 Academic All-District Women’s Tennis Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Erika Cheng was recognized with a 3.81 GPA in Civil Engineering followed by Katie Andreini with a 3.98 GPA majoring in Human Nutrition, Foods and Excerise, and Semra Aksu holding a 3.57 GPA in Business Information Technology.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 1.
