Head coach Younes Limam announced the Syracuse spring tennis schedule on Thursday afternoon. The campaign features a total of 20 matches on tap, split between seven nonconference and 13 league matchups.
Syracuse opens the season with a four-match home stand, facing NJIT (Saturday, Jan. 21), Boston University (Sunday, Jan. 22), Cornell (Friday, Jan. 27), and Delaware (Sunday, Jan. 29). The squad then opens February with its first road clash of the season against Drexel (Saturday, Feb. 4).
On Monday, Feb. 13 the Orange return to the Drumlins Tennis Club to host Buffalo. The team then travels to Boston College for its first ACC match on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Syracuse then returns home for its longest stretch of the season with five matches against FSU (Friday, Feb. 24), Miami (Sunday, Feb. 26), Virginia (Friday, Mar. 3), Coppin State (Saturday, Mar. 4), and Virginia Tech (Sunday, Mar. 5).
SU then takes a short road trip to Clemson (Friday, Mar. 17) and Georgia Tech (Sunday, Mar. 19), before its final pair of home games against Duke (Friday, Mar. 24) and UNC (Sunday, Mar. 26).
The ‘Cuse close out regular season play with four consecutive road matches against NC State (Friday, Mar. 31), Wake Forest (Sunday, Apr. 2), Notre Dame (Friday, Apr. 14), and Louisville (Sunday, Apr. 16).
On Wednesday, Apr. 19 through Sunday, Apr. 23 SU will head down to Cary, N.C. to compete in the ACC Tournament.
