BLOOOMINGTON, Ind. — The No. 6-ranked University of Michigan men’s tennis team earned its 10th straight win over Indiana University after a 4-0 decision on Saturday (April 15) at the IU Tennis Center.

Andrew Fenty, Jacob Bickersteth and Nino Ehrenschneider captured singles victories after the Wolverines took the doubles point.

For No. 11-ranked Fenty, it was his eighth consecutive win as he improves to 15-3 in dual singles play this season. He earned 6-2, 6-1 wins over Luka Vukovic at No. 2.

Bickersteth and Ehrenschneider finished moments apart at No. 6 and No. 5. Bickersteth posted matching 6-2 sets over Mac Rogers and is now 11-4 in dual singles. Ehrenschneider took down Ekansh Kumar 6-2, 6-3 to improve to 3-0 this season when playing at No. 5.

No. 6 Ondrej Styler was moments away from winning at No. 1 before the team match was secured. No. 58 Gavin Young was two games away from a win at No. 4 and No. 32-ranked Patrick Maloney was up 1-0 in the second set after a 7-6 (5) tiebreaker loss in the first set.

Fenty and Young made quick work of Patrick Fletchall and Ilya Tiraspolsky at No. 1 doubles with a 6-1 win. They took a 3-0 lead before losing just a single game and closing out with three straight games.

Styler and Bickersteth earned their first Big Ten win as a duo this season with a 6-3 victory over Vukovic and Kumar to clinch the doubles point, leaving Ehrenschneider and Maloney unfinished at No. 2 with a 5-4 edge.

The Wolverines will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., to take on Purdue on Sunday (April 16) at noon.
