TULSA, Okla. – Two individuals won a pair of matches Saturday at LaFortune Park to lead the Vanderbilt men’s tennis team on the opening day of the ITA All-American Championship.
Nathan Cox claimed three-set decisions in the first two rounds of pre-qualifying, with the second coming over the ninth seed in the bracket, while Michael Ross advanced by winning both of his matches in straight sets.
Marcus Ferreira and Macsen Sisam earned victories in the opening round as well for the Commodores.
