TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Crimson Tide men’s tennis team will open its annual Alabama Four-In-The-Fall Tournament this weekend with competition beginning at noon CT on Friday. The Tide welcomes opponents from Louisville, Tulane and Middle Tennessee to the three-day competition.
Tournament Format
Each program will have four players competing in pairs throughout the tournament. Each pair will play a total of three matches each round, one doubles and two singles. The duo that wins two of the three matches will advance in the compass draw format.

- Saturday | 10 a.m.
- Sunday | 10 a.m.

The Competition
- UA will face players from Louisville, Tulane and Middle Tennessee in the three-day event
- Zach Foster and Roan Jones will compete as members of Alabama Crimson, while Yair Sarouk and Andrii Zimnokh will play for Alabama White
- Sarouk and Zimnokh will compete as a duo for the second time this season after the pairing made a perfect 2-0 run at the SEC-Big Ten Challenge
- Foster and Jones team up for the first time this year and the fourth time overall after posting a 2-1 record in 2022-23
About the Tide
- Alabama has had a strong start to the fall season as the program readies for its third consecutive weekend of competition
- Doubles action has highlighted the Tide in its opening two weekends of events as UA has lost just two of its 11 head-to-head battles
- Filip Planinsek and Andrii Zimnokh are undefeated in singles play as both boast a 3-0 start to the year
- Additionally, Roan Jones and Zach Foster have lost just one singles match heading into the weekend
