Heller and Zhang Advance in Consolation Bracket of ITA National Fall Championships


SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Blue Devil duo of graduate students Michael Heller and Andrew Zhang advanced to the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket of the ITA National Fall Championships on Thursday at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
 
The pair bested Juan Pablo Valdez Guzman and Carlos Gimenez Perez of Alabama-Birmingham in straight sets 7-5, 6-3.
 
Heller and Zhang advance to face Lukas Engelhardt and Nikola Slavic of Ole Miss in the consolation quarterfinals on Friday. The time for this match has yet to be announced.
