MIAMI, Fla. – Finishing out its stay in The Sunshine State on Sunday (March 12), No. 19 Wake Forest women’s tennis visited No. 18 Miami (9-2, 4-1) for a nationally-ranked top-25 matchup. The host ultimately captured a 7-0 sweep over the Demon Deacons.
Wake Forest moves to 11-7 overall on the season, standing at 2-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Conclusion of Sunday’s showing marked the start of a 12-day stretch in which the Deacs will have a break from match competition. A total of 10 contests make up the remainder of Wake Forest’s 2023 regular-season schedule.
