CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Former Illini Zeke Clark and sophomore Kenta Miyoshi have moved onto the doubles finals in the Neitzel Family Open, a $15,000 USTA Professional Tennis Circuit Event hosted at Atkins Tennis Center.
Clark is also moving onto the semifinals in singles after beating current Illini Alex Petrov due to retirement with a score of 6-7(4), 5-2 (ret.).
Hunter Heck also played in the quarterfinals, but lost to William Grant, 7-6 (1), 6-1.
Miyoshi and Clark finished the day for the Illini defeating Andrew Fenty and Patrick Maloney, 6-3, 7-6 (5).
