Cardinals Complete Saturday Play at Alabama, ITA All-American Championships


LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men’s tennis registered two wins on day two of the Alabama Four-in-the-Fall Invitational while Natan Rodrigues lost in the first round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America Championship Pre-Qualifying Draw.
 
In the Alabama doubles semifinals round, the duo of David Mizrahi and Will Mayew teamed to beat Alabama’s Joao Ferrerira and Zach Foster 6-2. Matthew Fung and Andre’ Steinbach lost their semifinal match to Tulane’s Scherer and Jackson 6-3 to move to the consolation draw.
 
In singles action, Steinbach defeated Tulane’s Benji Jacobson 6-3, 6-4.
