Alabama Men’s and Women’s Tennis Hosts Holiday Hangout with the Tide Friday

Jones Leads Alabama Men’s Tennis on Opening Day of the Bobby Bayliss Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Alabama men’s and women’s tennis teams, alongside the Crimson Racket Club, will host a Holiday Hangout with the Tide Friday, Dec. 1. The event will be held at the Roberta Alison Bumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility from 6-7:30 p.m. CT.

Admission is free to all Alabama sports fans.

About the Holiday Hangout with the Tide

  • Food will be provided by the Crimson Racket Club to all who attend the event
  • Alabama men’s and women’s tennis players will welcome attendees to the event and will hold a hit-a-round until 6:45 p.m.
  • Both UA programs will participate in an exhibition singles doubles matches between 6:45 – 7:15 p.m.
  • For the final 15 minutes, players and coaches from both teams will be available for a Q&A

Join the Crimson Racket Club

  • Fans can still join the Crimson Racket Club and support the Alabama men’s and women’s tennis teams
  • Members will receive exclusive invites for team events throughout the year including two Meet the Team opportunities at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility
  • At the Meet the Team events, members will have the opportunity to connect and hit balls with coaches and players as well as enjoy food with the Crimson Tide tennis teams

  • The Crimson Tide will hold four cookouts in the spring

    • March 3 – UA women vs. Kentucky
    • March 22 – UA men vs. Arkansas
    • April 5 – UA women vs. Auburn
    • April 14 – UA men vs. Texas A&M

  • Members have access to snacks and drinks at all Alabama home tennis matches
  • CRC members will receive a FREE Alabama Tennis cooler backpack
