CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers Women’s Tennis team (10-7, 1-5 ACC) is coming off a great weekend win as they head to Florida for a weekend of tennis in the sunshine state against two conference teams. On Friday, the Tigers are up against No. 19 Miami (6-3, 4-1 ACC) at noon. The Tigers then head to FSU (8-6, 2-3 ACC) on Sunday to play at 2:00 p.m.
Both matches will be available for live streaming and scoring.
“This weekend will be an excellent test for our team down in Florida,” head coach Boomer Saia said. “Miami and FSU are challenging places to play, but we look forward to testing ourselves at the highest level. We will need to bring a high level of grit and belief as we aim to get big road wins for our team.”
This is the 40th matchup between the Tigers and the Hurricanes, with Miami leading the series 35-4. Against FSU, this will be the 50th matchup, with the Tigers leading 33-16 and last winning in 2017, 5-2.
Clemson is coming off of a win over Radford this past Friday, 6-1. The Tigers dominated on courts two through six.
