TUSCALOOSA, Ala – Florida State won three of four singles matches on the final day the Four in the Fall Tournament at the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium. The Seminoles completed a successful weekend as they won 16 total matches with junior Anna Arkadianou earning five wins in both doubles and singles play. Arkadianou finished the weekend undefeated in singles play. Freshman Millie Bissett finished with a 4-1 record.
The Seminoles closed the tournament on Sunday with victories by Olympe Lancelot, Cade Cricchio and Arkadianou as they win three of four matches on the final day of the tournament.
Arkadianou was a perfect 3-0 in singles play, with a win on each of the three days of the event. She was also 2-1 in doubles play as she finished the weekend with a 5-1 overall record. Bissett was 4-1 in her first appearance as a Seminole, with two singles wins and two in doubles play.
Each of the five Seminoles in the tournament gained at least two victories, with four of the five gaining at least one win in both singles and doubles play. Bissett (4-1) and Cricchio (3-1) earned their first career wins, with both earning victories in both singles and doubles play.
