COLLEGE PARK, MD.- The University of Maryland women’s tennis team will return to action on the road against No. 12 Ohio State on Friday and Penn State on Sunday.
Maryland moved into the top 50 for ITA’s team rankings this week being ranked at No. 49 and is 11-7 on the season. The team features Selma Cadar who is ranked #85 in singles and No. 1 doubles pair Minorka Miranda and Maria Budin who are 12-4 on the season.
In their most recent match, the Terps defeated Michigan State 4-1 on Sunday, March 24.
Ohio State comes into the match ranked at No. 12 for ITA’s team rankings and is on a three match win streak, most recently defeating Purdue 4-0.
In Penn State’s most recent match they defeated Indiana on the road 4-1.
