NORMAN, Okla. – Sun Devil men’s tennis (8-3) fell short to No. 38 Oklahoma Friday night. Murphy Cassone and Max McKennon picked up the two singles points in No. 36 Arizona State’s 5-2 loss.
McKennon and his partner, Spencer Brachman defeated their doubles opponents first, leaving it courts one and three to finish the point out. The Sooners (8-5) grabbed an early lead after winning the remaining doubles matches.
OU would sweep the Sun Devils in singles, but as the dual played out Cassone and McKennon snagged three set victories on their respective court.
