CLEMSON, S.C. โ€“ The No. 30 Clemson womenโ€™s tennis team (14-7, 2-6 ACC)ย  continues its slate of ranked ACC matches this weekend as it travels north to take on No. 74 Virginia Tech on Friday and No. 12 Virginia on Sunday. First serve Friday is scheduled for 2 p.m. while Sundayโ€™s match will begin at noon.

Clemson is 24-8 all-time against the Hokies. In their last matchup, Clemson took down Virginia Tech in a thrilling 4-3 victory in the first round of the 2022 ACC Tournament. Clemson is leading Virginia 37-14 all-time, but has dropped each of the last four matches between the two teams.

Clemson is coming off a big win on Saturday in which it took down No. 24 UCF at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. The Tigers have competed well over the past few weeks, earning wins over then No. 25 Syracuse and Chattanooga, and have slowly climbed up the rankings to No. 30 in the country. With her win against UCF that clinched the match for the Tigers, Dani Medvedeva improved to 16-2 on the season and is ranked the No. 74 singles player in the nation.

Sophia Hatton has also been sensational for the Tigers thus far, boasting 13-3 singles record. Cristina Mayorova has impressed the majority of the season, holding an 11-6 record from Court two and a 14-6 record overall.
