After reaching his first Masters 1000 final in Madrid over the weekend, Felix Auger-Aliassime returns to the Top 20 for the first time since last October. The Canadian is the biggest riser inside the ATP’s Top 100 in this week’s rankings (+15).
23-year-old Auger-Aliassime, a former World No.6 finishes the week one shy of his 200th career ATP wins, and is back on track for being seeded at the Slams.
There was only one player on the rise inside the ATP’s Top 10 this week: Andrey Rublev. The Russian claimed his second Masters 1000 title and jumped two spots to No.6, while Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas each dropped a spot, to No.7 and No.8 respectively.
Djokovic, Still No.1
At the top of the rankings, Novak Djokovic remains 1130 points ahead of Jannik Sinner. The Serbian legend is entering a record 424th week atop the WTA rankings.
Djokovic is 12th in the Race to Turin standings, but hopes to pick up some big points this week in Rome, where he is the top seed, and later this month at Roland-Garros, where he will bid for a record 25th major title.
Navone, Tabilo Career Highs
Argentina’s Mariano Navone and Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo each claimed challenger titles, and rose to new ranking milestones this week. Navone jumps 10 spots after coming away with the Cagliari title on Sunday. The 23-year-old was outside the Top 100 as recently as February.
26-year-old Tabilo, who won his maiden title at Auckland in January, won the Aix-En-Provence Challenger and jumps six spots to a career-high 32.
