Men’s Tennis to Host Final Home Matches – Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis (11-11, 2-6 ACC) is set to host conference competitors, Louisville and Notre Dame, in the team’s home finale this upcoming weekend.

Tech opens with Louisville on Friday, April 7 at 5 p.m. and will then take on Notre Dame on Sunday, April 9 at 12 p.m. Sunday’s match will also serve as Senior Day for Brandon McKinney and the Jackets.

After four-straight losses, Tech will look to bounce back and claim two conference wins this weekend.

No. 7 Andres Martin has continued to be a standout for Tech and recently earned his first ITA Top 10 Singles ranking. The junior is currently on a six-match win streak with 12 victories over nationally-ranked players. Martin is 6-1 in ACC competition and 17-4 in dual match play.

In conference play, Louisville is 3-6 and Notre Dame is 2-7. The Cardinals have wins over Boston College, NC State and Virginia Tech. Notre Dame also earned conference victories against the Eagles and Hokies.
